The UNITY AWARDS, known as the "Catholic Grammys", presented by United Catholic Music and Video Association, (UCMVA), is a unique and exciting annual celebration. UCMVA created the UNITY AWARDS as a means to honor the achievements and excellence of Catholic artists and musicians from around the world in various categories of music and video production.
We are proud to have New Orleans host the UNITY AWARDS. Our unique musical heritage is truly a befitting backdrop for this auspicious event.
UCMVA was founded in the Jubilee Year 2000 and held its first UNITY AWARDS in November of the same year. UCMVA is a non-profit charitable organization with the primary mission of supporting, encouraging and promoting the development of all forms of Catholic oriented Christian music and video including: Classical, Traditional, Liturgical, Praise & Worship, Contemporary, Instrumental Compositions and other genres.
